tiny tugboat goes solar electric

The build is progressing well and solar panel is wired up to battery pack the switching is to be installed. Battery box has been made. Still more to do to the woodwork and I can see the end in sight for the first launch under power. I will publish photos at http://tinytugboat.com.wordpress.com/ in a couple of days.

Little tug

The length of the boat is 8'10" The beam is 2'2"  and the depth is 1'10''. If I were to do it again the dimentions could be reduced that is say 7' long and the depth reduced to 16" and the beam made the same.

These are the parts that make up the wheel the spokes come from a pot holder on a gas stove the second photo shows the finished wheel before cleaning and painting. coppied from http://footrotflat.wordpress.com/
